MDF Layered Cutout Mandala 3

Decorate these awesome MDF Mandala cutouts your way... paint, dot, decoupage, doodle, glue... the list goes on.  The only limit is your imagination!  

They are great for wall or door decorations or even better use them as a nice relaxing thing to paint at an afternoon with 'the girls... or boys...' along with a glass of red or coffee and cake!  

These gorgeous mandalas are designed and made here in South Australia and are exclusive to Wild Wicks.   They feature 2 layers... the bottom one is one piece with the design lasered on and the top layer features the design cut into pieces so you can remove them to paint then glue them in place on the bottom layer... this gives a perfect outline... it doesn't get much easier than that!  You can also leave pieces out to give it a 3D effect.. .Get creative and make it your own...

Be sure not to apply paint too thickly over the edges as pieces may not fit back in... I use a sponge dabber to apply the paint in multiple thin layers... Allow wet paint or applied finish to dry on a flat surface.  Finish with a varnish or protective sealer to protect the completed masterpiece!  You will notice that one side of the pieces will appear scorched from the laser bed... I have purposely left this visible to make it easier to know which way you pieces slot back into your mandala... the 'clean' side should face up.  Take care when removing pieces and replacing them as some corners are quite fine... 

These kits are not for young children as some pieces are quite sharp on some corners and possibly contain small pieces that may be a choking hazard... 

Measurements Approx at the widest point is 300mm

This cutout will be raw unpainted 4mm MDF Wood... also made here in SA! 

What you will need (NOT included in kit)... Glue, Paint and whatever you wish to decorate this with along with brushes, sponge dabbers etc... the kit only includes the wooden Mandala cutout.
