WORKSHOP - Beginners Dot Mandala - Choose your own time

Come and spend a relaxing morning or afternoon learning the art of 'Dot Mandala' Painting.... the great thing is, you choose the day and time to wish to attend... 7 days a week  and any 3 hour block between 9am and 9pm... It can be just you or invite up to 7 others to cheer you along... 

I have been 'Dotting' for many years and would love to share all my tips and tricks so you too can enjoy this very relaxing and satisfying way of painting... and no, you don't have to have any 'Artsy' experience... it is simple and fun... and very addictive!

It is a casual fun environment, room for up to 8 with each person having their own 1.2meter table so you have room to spread out lots of elbow room... and create at your own pace.  If you simply want to escape the kids or hubby, or the wife, or have fun hanging out with your 'Besties', this is the perfect way to spend the morning or afternoon... great for a special get together with family or friends... maybe a hens night, a birthday treat or just an excuse to have some relaxing therapy!

Classes will run for 3 hours with a break in the middle to grab a cuppa and a biscuit...

It will start by going over the materials, paint mixing, creating guidelines and practice on the laminated sheets to get comfortable with the techniques, then you will get the chance to paint a 20cm round MDF board... (which will be already painted black and guide lines drawn to save time...) by following the step by step instructions choosing from 2 different options... one just dots and one with dots and swooshes... as mentioned, working at your own pace... you can also 'colour outside the lines' so to speak and use these step by step instructions as an inspiration to create your own design... the choice will be all yours and I will help along the way as much as you need.

You will be able to take all your tools and any leftover paint home used on the day so you can continue to create and also have the option to purchase more paint, boards, art stones and other art supplies (not to mention all the other goodies Wild Wicks have to offer) 

Here is a list of things you will be given and are all included in the cost...

• A detailed instructional book with all the tips and tricks you will need to get started.
• Step by step pictured instructions to create your first dot mandala including 2 different levels of difficulty.
• Laminated practice sheet featuring dots and swooshes.
• 6 x 20ml Pots of Acrylic Paint pre mixed.
• 2 x 20cm MDF Boards... one with guidelines to use on the day and one just painted black to create your own design.
• 1 Art Stone
• Tasmanian Oak Dotting Rod Set.
• Wooden Dotting Stylus tools.
• Notebook to jot down any important info you would like to refer back to
• Refreshments in the break... water, coffee, tea and bickies... you are welcome to bring any beverage you specifically like... if not, I will definitely make you a cuppa...

• Access to photograph any of my many designs for reference.

Full payment is required to book in and secure your seat as a lot of materials are made before the day... boards are cut and painted, paint is mixed, instruction sheets printed etc... a lot of time an care is put into this preparation but I do understand 'sh*t happens' and sometimes life gets in the way, so, you can either transfer it to another day... there will be heaps more workshops coming... you can gift it to a friend or family member or I can issue it as a gift card for you to use online or shop in person...
